Bylaws

1. Attend the MLK weekend yearly reunion with a few exceptions allowed:
– You are having a child that week.
-Family Death

2. Attendance is restricted to founding members with the exception of Monumental
Events. Refer to Glossary for Monumental Events.

3. PPP-Prior Proper Plan – Plan ahead, NO EXCUSES!

4. Be respectful of the host and planners and rsvp in a timely manner.

5. Special guest appearances by other friends or family members are encouraged
but should not exceed a tacky threshold such that they are all up in our 7up
business.

6. Absent members shall buy a round of drinks at the next reunion.

7. Absent members will receive full silent treatment during the reunion weekend.

8. No double booking during a reunion. AKA, “Don’t pull a Lauren.” Lauren left SF to go exercise with Jeff. Dump it!

9. “Don’t pull a Kran.” Hold the elevator open for all members. Hold the “Door Open”
button.

10. Eat brownies/desserts- Every spoon for themselves.

11. Debrief every activity with a Pump it!/Dump it session.

12. No Smoking-Respect Eco-Diversity.

13. Please Refer to Chris Kranley as Cran.

14. Let other 7uppers know if you are going on vacation. AKA: Don’t pull a Norma and announce when you are already there.

15. (2010). In order to promote PPP, as well as encourage members to attend each year, all 7up members will send a deposit in the amount of $50 to Lauren each year by the end of February. The money will be put into a savings account and then the $400 + interest will be used at the following year’s reunion. How the money will be spent is to be decided by the attending members of that year’s reunion. Some possible uses are hotels costs, food costs, and of course alcohol costs. This is a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit. If you don’t want to lose your $50 then you simply must come to the reunion.

16. Offenses involving ignoring and not responding to Monumental
News email threads.—Whoever, whether or not acting under the color of
the law, willfully causing disregard and shrugging off 7upper news
or, through the use of not responding, not wanting to know, or
ignoring the the previous email —> > (A) – shall be in 7upper time
out not more then 1 year , fined in accordance with this title, or
both; and > (B) – shall not receive the Monumental News until decided
by the 7uppers that were present at the time of Monumental News
disclosure. > > Nothing in this Policy, or the amendments made by
this Policy, shall be construed to prohibit any expressive conduct
protected from legal prohibition by, or any activities protected by
the free speech or free exercise clauses of, the First Amendment to
the Constitution

17. Inform non-attending 7uppers of mini reunions so we can be jealous!
